Patriots Sign Cody Kessler

The New England Patriots have agreed to sign Cody Kessler.

Kessler was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars in May and didn't make the regular season roster of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kessler was a third round pick out of USC by the Cleveland Browns.

Jets Signing David Fales To Serve As Backup Quarterback

The New York Jets are signing David Fales to serve as the No. 2 at quarterback to Luke Falk, according to a source.

Sam Darnold is sidelined with mononucleosis and Trevor Siemian is out for the rest of the season with a left ankle injury.

Fales, as well as Falk, played for Adam Gase with the Miami Dolphins

Chargers Sign Lance Kendricks

The Los Angeles Chargers have signed Lance Kendricks.

The Chargers are without Hunter Henry at tight end for several weeks due to a left knee injury.

Kendricks was signed by the New England Patriots in the offseason and then released.

Kendricks spent 2017 and 2018 with the Packers, after six seasons with the Rams. In eight seasons, he has 2,505 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns.

Buccaneers Re-Sign Safety Andrew Adams

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed safety Andrew Adams.

Adams picked off Cam Newton three times last year. The Buccaneers face off against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.

The move comes after the Buccaneers placed safety Justin Evans on injured reserve because of an Achilles injury.

Texans Sign Nick Martin To Three-Year, $33M Extension

The Houston Texans have agreed to sign Nick Martin to a three-year, $33 million extension. The deal contains $18.35 million in guaranteed money for Martin.

Martin has been the Texans' starting center since he was drafted in the second round out of Notre Dame in 2016.

Antonio Brown Agrees To One-Year, $15M Deal With Patriots

Antonio Brown has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the New England Patriots worth up to $15 million.

The deal contains a $9 million signing bonus for Brown.

Brown was released on Saturday by the Oakland Raiders.

Brown cannot play in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers as NFL transactions aren't allowed on Sundays. The Steelers wouldn't trade Brown to the New England Patriots during the offseason.

Julio Jones Signs Fully Guaranteed Three-Year, $66M Extension

The Atlanta Falcons have signed Julio Jones to a three-year, $66 million contract extension.

The deal includes $66 million in guaranteed money and $64 million due at signing. Jones had two seasons and nearly $21 million remaining on his contract.

Tyreek Hill Agrees To Three-Year, $54M Extension With Chiefs

Tyreek Hill has agreed to a three-year, $54 million extension with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hill will receive $35.5 million in guaranteed money with a $5.8 million signing bonus.

The shorter length of the deal benefits both sides given Hill's off-the-field issues and his ability to hit the market again sooner.

Bengals Sign Giovani Bernard To Two-Year Extension

Giovani Bernard and the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a two-year contract extension.

The running back is now under contract through the 2021 season.

The deal is worth $10.3 million and includes $600,000 guaranteed, to be paid in March 2020.

Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott Agree On Six-Year, $90M Contract

The Dallas Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott have finally come to terms on a new contract, according to reports.

The two sides have agreed to a six-year, $90 million extension with roughly half of the deal's value guaranteed.

In total, the running back's contract now runs for eight years and $103 million.
