Larry Fitzgerald Returning To Cardinals On One-Year Deal

Larry Fitzgerald has announced he is returning for his 16th NFL season.

Fitzgerald signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals.

"No player has meant more to this franchise or this community than Larry Fitzgerald," team president Michael Bidwill said in a statement. "In my discussions with him, it was clear that he is as driven and as passionate as ever. We are thrilled he'll be back for 2019."

In 2018, Fitzgerald did not announce his decision on playing until mid-February.

Fitzgerald will be 36 during the 2019 season. Fitzgerald had 69 catches for 734 yards and six touchdowns in 2018.

The Seattle Seahawks have signed Paxton Lynch.

Lynch didn't play in 2018 after he was released by the Denver Broncos at the end of the preseason.

Lynch was a first round pick by the Broncos in 2016.

Brett Hundley backed up Wilson in 2018 and is a pending free agent.

Chargers Sign Nick Rose To Handle Kickoffs

The Los Angeles Chargers are signing Nick Rose to handle kickoffs in Sunday's divisional round playoff game against the New England Patriots, according to a source.

The Chargers allowed the most returns in the NFL during the regular season.

Kicker Mike Badgley had a touchback on only 9 of his 54 kickoffs during the regular season.
