The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to sign Aaron Donald to a six-year deal worth $135 million with $87 million in guaranteed money.

The deal is the richest ever for a defensive player.

A first-round pick in 2014, Donald was entering the final year of his rookie contract and scheduled to earn $6.9 million this season.

Donald is a three-time All-Pro.

Rob Gronkowski has agreed to an improved deal with the New England Patriots adding $4.3 million to his contract.

Gronkowski can make up to $13.3 million in 2018.

Gronkowski considered retiring in the offseason.

The Seattle Seahawks have signed Tyler Lockett to a three-year, $31.8 million contract extension.

The deal has a maximum value of $37.8 million and $20 million guaranteed.

The 25-year-old Lockett was entering the final year of his rookie contract. 

Lockett suffered a compound fracture of his leg in a Christmas Eve game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Lockett made it back by the start of last season but estimated recently that he was playing at about 75-80 percent while coming off the injury.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Carlos Dunlap have agreed to a three-year, $45 million extension.

Dunlap was a Pro Bowler in 2015 and 2016 at defensive end.

The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to sign Geno Atkins to a four-year extension.

Atkins was scheduled to become a free agent in 2019.

Atkins is a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-team All-Pro at defensive tackle.

The Bengals selected Atkins in the fourth round out of Georgia in 2010.

The New England Patriots have agreed to a five-year, $50 million contract extension with guard Shaq Mason.

The pact carries $23.5 million in guaranteed money, according to a source.

Mason will make $30 million over the first three years of the contract.

The 25-year-old was entering the final year of his rookie agreement.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has agreed to sign with the Oakland Raiders.

Rodgers-Cromartie told ESPN's Josina Anderson earlier Wednesday that he was in Oakland to work out for the Raiders and that things went "real good."

Rodgers-Cromartie, who is entering his 11th NFL season after playing the previous four seasons for the New York Giants following previous stops with the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals, has played in fewer than 15 games just once in his career, when he appeared in 13 games for the Eagles in 2011.

The Minnesota Vikings are expected to sign George Iloka.

Iloka was cut by the Cincinnati Bengals last week. Mike Zimmer worked with Iloka during his time with the Bengals.

loka started 16 games for the Bengals last season, compiling 80 tackles, five passes defended and one pick. Pro Football Focus graded 2017 as Iloka's best season, and the safety allowed only a 68.4 passer rating against last year.

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to sign Jon Ryan.

Ryan was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Monday as Michael Dickson was set to be their punter.

Ryan will compete for the punter job with Colton Schmidt.

Washington has agreed to sign Adrian Peterson.

Peterson spent last season with the New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals.

Washington lost Derrius Guice for the season with a torn ACL.
