Greg Olsen and the Carolina Panthers have agreed upon a two-year extension worth $8.55 million per year.
The max value of the deal is $10.05 million.
Olsen has also been a candidate this offseason to work in television full time.

The Baltimore Ravens signed Willie Snead to an offer sheet last week and it will not be matched by the New Orleans Saints.
Snead was tendered at the lowest level so Baltimore does not owe any compensation for signing the wideout.
Snead's contract will be a two-year, $7 million deal with another $3.4 million in incentives.
Snead reported to the Saints' workouts last week without signing his restricted free agent tender.
Vikings Sign Eric Kendricks To Five-Year, $50M Extension
The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to sign Eric Kendricks to a five-year, $50 million contract extension.
Kendricks' deal will include $25 million in guaranteed money.
Kendricks was the 45th overall pick out of UCLA in 2015.
Kendricks had 113 tackles and 1.0 sack last year.
Browns Sign Josh Gordon
The Cleveland Browns have signed Josh Gordon.
Gordon joined the Browns as a second-round pick in the 2012 supplemental draft. He has appeared in 40 games and recorded 179 receptions for 3,089 yards and 15 touchdowns. In 2013, he led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards. He appeared in five games in 2017 and registered 18 receptions for 335 yards and one touchdown.
Gordon had 18 catches for 335 yards and one touchdown in 2017 after coming off his lengthy suspension.
Seahawks Sign Sebastian Janikowski
The Seattle Seahawks have signed Sebastian Janikowski.
A back injury kept Janikowski on the sideline throughout the 2017 season.
Blair Walsh was the Seahawks' kicker last season.

The Cleveland Browns and Jarvis Landry have agreed upon a five-year, $75 million contract extension.
Landry will receive $47 million in guaranteed money.
The Browns traded for Landry from the Dolphins this offseason.

The New Orleans Saints have agreed to sign Cameron Meredith to a two-year, $10 million offer sheet.
The Chicago Bears will have the option of matching Meredith's contract as he's a restricted free agent.
Meredith missed the 2017 season after tearing his left ACL.
Meredith had 66 receptions, 888 yards and four touchdowns in 2016.
Patriots Sign Jordan Matthews To One-Year Deal
The New England Patriots have agreed to sign Jordan Matthews to a one-year deal.
Matthews was a second round pick in 2014 and played for the Buffalo Bills last season.
During his first three seasons, Matthews had 872 yards, 997 yards and 804 yards. Last season with the Bills, Matthews caught just 25 balls for 282 yards.

The Denver Broncos have agreed to sign Marquette King to a three-year deal worth $7 million.
King was released by the Raiders this offseason.
King is widely considered one of the NFL's best punters.

Cassel previously was with the Patriots hen Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia were with the franchise.
