The Atlanta Falcons have signed Courtney Roby.

Roby (6-0, 189) did not play last season after being cut by New Orleans in training camp. Prior to that, he did little as a receiver, recording 21 of his 25 career catches in 2005 during his rookie season at Tennessee, where he was a third-round pick out of Indiana. 

Roby was most valuable as a kick returner, averaging 24.9 yards on 121 returns during his career. 

Washington has signed Jerry Rice Jr., an undrafted rookie wide receiver that played collegiately at UCLA and UNLV.

Rice made appearances at minicamps with the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers this offseason.

“I’m my own person, my own individual,” he told the 49ers’ Web site in May. “Obviously, I have his DNA too, so there’s some similarities. But in the end I am Rice Jr., not Rice Sr., and it’s time to make my own name.”

The Chicago Bears have signed Adrian Wilson to a one-year deal.

Wilson is a five-time Pro Bowl safety.

Arizona released Wilson on March 8, 2013, and the safety eventually signed a three-year contract with the New England Patriots. However, Wilson suffered a season-ending Achilles injury last summer and failed to play in a regular-season game in 2013. The Patriots released Wilson in April.

Johnny Manziel have agreed upon a four-year deal with the Cleveland Browns.

Manziel's contract is worth approximately $8.3 million with a $4.3 million signing bonus.

Manziel's deal is 94 percent guaranteed.

The New England Patriots have signed Kyle Auffray, a tight end out of New Hampshire.

Auffray has previous experience as a quarterback and punter in college.

The Chicago Bears have signed Jimmy Clausen.

Jordan Palmer is also in the mix for the Bears' backup quarterback job behind Jay Cutler.

The Bears also drafted San Jose State's David Fales in the sixth round as a developmental prospect.

The New Orleans Saints are expected to sign center Jonathan Goodwin.

Goodwin was most recently with the San Francisco 49ers.
