Tarvaris Jackson has reached an agreement with the Bills on a contract.

Jackson can earn up to $3 million this season.

Buffalo acquired Jackson via trade with the Seahawks.

Jason McCourty has signed a five-year extension with the Titans that runs through 2017.

McCourty's deal has $43 million in new money with $20 million in guarantees and bonuses.

McCourty was a sixth round pick in 2009 out of Rutgers.

McCourty began starting at cornerback in 2011.

Kyle Love has signed a one-year contract extension through 2013 with the Patriots.

Love's new deal has a maximum value of $3.1 million.

Love was signed as an undrafted defensive tackle out of Mississippi State in 2010 and improved immensely alongside Vince Wilfork.

"We appreciate the Patriots stepping up to make commitment to Kyle at a time when they didn't have to. We're very pleased with that and hopefully it will lead to him being here long term. Kyle's deserving. A very hard working kid who worked his way up from being undrafted," agent Sean Stellato.

The Lions have signed Kassim Osgood.

Osgood was cut by the Jaguars in March.

Osgood has appeared in three Pro Bowls as a special teamer.

Vernon Gholston has signed with the Rams.

Gholdson projects as playing defensive end for the Rams, though he was drafted sixth overall by the Jets at linebacker.

Gholston is still just 26 despite not playing in the NFL last season.

Dwayne Bowe has finally signed his franchise tender with the Chiefs.

Bowe signed his one-year, $9.5 million deal after missing all offseason activities and training camp. The two sides failed to reach a long-term deal by the league-mandated July 16 deadline.

Bowe was the last franchise player to sign with his team.

Jeff Demps has agreed to sign a contract with the Patriots.

Demps participated in the 2012 Olympics as a sprinter, winning a silver medal in the 4x100 relay. Demps played football while at Florida.

New England is in need of a kick returner.

The Texans signed tackle Duane Brown to a new contract Thursday, according to an Associated Press report.

The six-year contract is worth $53.4M, with $22.08M guaranteed, a person with direct knowledge of the deal said on condition of anonymity.

''I understand they had a lot of confidence in me, a lot of faith in me,'' Brown said.

The Raiders have signed Korey Bosworth.

Bosworth, an undrafted free agent in 2010 out of UCLA, is the nephew of Brian Bosworth.

Bosworth played for the Lions in their preseason opener last week.
