Kirk Cousins Signs With Redskins

The Redskins have signed quarterback Kirk Cousins to a rookie contract. According to sources, Cousins received a four-year, $2.57 million deal. He was the seventh pick in the fourth round. A three-year starter at Michigan State, Cousins is the school's all-time leader in completions (723), passing yards (9,131) and passing touchdowns (66) and was expected to be a second or third round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The Colts have signed former first-round draft pick George Foster. The 6-foot-5, 338-pound offensive tackle was Denver's first-round pick (20th) in 2003. He played four seasons with the Broncos before spending two seasons in Detroit, then moved to Cleveland in 2009.

"That's kind of shocking, but that's what it is," Winslow said, adding that Schiano told him the coach "would help me out with a trade."
