The Jets have re-signed linebacker Aaron Maybin to their 53-man roster, according to a report.
Maybin was initially signed by New York after he was released by Buffalo this summer.
The former first-round pick made the team's final roster, but was cut after the Jets were awarded players on waivers.

Indianapolis Signs Dan Orlovsky
The Colts have signed free agent quarterback Dan Orlovsky.
Orlovsky was with Indianapolis in training camp and the team is in need of a quarterback following the concussion suffered by Kerry Collins on Sunday night.
Ravens Sign Ngata To Five-Year Deal
The Ravens have signed defensive tackle Haloti Ngata to a new five-year contract.
Ngata will get $40 million in the first two years of the deal, according to his agent.
A source familiar with the deal claims that the total value of the deal is $61 million.
"The two things that brought this together was a deadline and domination," agent Mike McCartney said.
"Today was the deadline to sign franchise players and there's no doubt that when the Ravens saw Haloti dominate against the Steelers, they wanted this deal done. Deadlines and domination got this done."
Giants To Sign Brandon Stokley
Looking for a slot receiver, the Giants will sign Brandon Stokley ahead of Monday night's game against the Rams.
Stokley is entering his 13th NFL season and agreed to terms with the Redskins in late July before backing out on the deal.
He has played for the Ravens, Colts, Broncos and last year caught 31 passes for the Seahawks.
Dolphins Will Sign Will Allen
The Dolphins have re-signed defensive back Will Allen.
Miami gave up a franchise-worst 517 passing yards on Monday night against New England.
Allen was cut by the Dolphins at the end of training camp.
"This is a business," he said. "You've got to understand. You can't take anything personal. You take the punch, and you keep rolling. Bitterness doesn't get me anywhere, so here I am."
Chargers Sign Kicker Nick Novak
The Chargers have signed kicker Nick Novak to a two-year contract on Tuesday and placed Nate Kaeding on season-ending injured reserve.
Novak beat out Shayne Graham and Dave Rayner for the kicking job after having the best workout Tuesday, according to a source.
In 2010, Novak was in training camp with the Chargers.
Patriots Cut Gerard Warren, Sign Gronkowski
The Patriots have cut defensive lineman Gerard Warren and signed tight end Dan Gronkowski, the brother of current Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Dan Gronkowski was released by the Broncos.
49ers Sign LB Tavares Gooden
The 49ers have signed linebacker Tavares Gooden to a one-year deal.
To make room on the roster, San Francisco released linebacker Antwan Applewhite ahead of their season opener Sunday against the defending NFC West champion Seahawks.
Patriots Sign Brian Waters
The Patriots have agreed to a deal with Pro Bowl guard Brian Waters.
Waters, who worked out for the Patriots on Saturday, reached an agreement Sunday, the team announced.
He signed a two-year deal that could be worth up to $5.5 million, according to sources.
