Dolphins Sign Cory Procter

The Dolphins have signed offensive lineman Cory Procter. Proctor was released by the Cowboys last week. He spent five seasons with Dallas, starting 11 games in 2008 and appearing in 12 as a reserve last season.

Manning Signs $1.1M Tender With Bears

The Bears announced Wednesday that restricted free-agent safety Danieal Manning has signed his tender of $1.176 million. "He's just glad it's done," Manning's agent Russel Hicks told ESPNChicago.com. "This was never a big distraction because Danieal chose to go in awhile ago and be part of the team. All he wants to do now is move forward and be part of a Super Bowl contender. That's all he's worried about." A former second-round pick, Manning has started 40 of 61 games for the Bears at free safety, cornerback, nickel, and strong safety.

Ravens Sign DBs Fisher, Jones

The Ravens signed veteran cornerback Travis Fisher and rookie safety Brad Jones on Monday. Both players participated in Baltimore's full-team minicamp on a tryout basis two weeks ago. Fisher is an eight-year veteran who has played in 90 NFL games. Jones started in 13 games for the University of Cincinnati last year.

The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed free agent defensive lineman Vonnie Holliday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Holliday, 34, has played in 167 career games, with 144 starts, in 12 National Football League seasons with four clubs. For his career, he has recorded 572 tackles, 60 sacks, two interceptions, 38 passes defensed, nine forced fumbles and 11 fumble recoveries.

Bears Sign Rookie J'Marcus Webb

The Bears have signed rookie offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb to a four-year contract. Webb, a seventh-round pick, is the first Chicago rookie to sign and just the second league-wide. He will be at the team's minicamp, which begins Friday at Halas Hall, and then will participate in OTA's next month.

Cofield Finally Signs Tender With Giants

Giants defensive tackle Barry Cofield has finally signed his contract tender with the team, Sirius Radio has reported. Sirius host Adam Caplan wrote on his Twitter page, "The Giants now have all of their RFAs under contract. Barry Cofield signed his RFA tender, according to a source." New York reportedly tried to trade Cofield to New Orleans last month, but have since taken him off the block.

OG Loper Signs With Oakland

The Raiders signed veteran guard Daniel Loper on Friday in a move that gives them more depth and experience. Loper, 28, played in 40 games for the Tennessee Titans from 2006-08 and eight for the Detroit Lions last season. His only five starts as an NFL player came for the Lions. Robert Gallery and Cooper Carlisle are the projected starters at left and right guard, respectively. Loper will compete for a backup spot during training camp.
