Chiefs Safety Page Signs RFA Tender
Safety Jarrad Page has signed his restricted free agent tender with the Chiefs.
Kansas City announced the signing on Friday, but terms were not released.
Page was a seventh-round draft pick out of UCLA in 2006, but became a starter soon after.
Cut By Redskins, Jansen Heads To Lions
Shortly after being cut by the Redskins, offensive lineman Jon Jansen joined the Lions.
Jansen will sign a one-year deal with Detroit assuming he passes a physical.
"After taking care of things Monday, I'm very excited to show I've got more than one year left in my career," Jansen told the The Associated Press. "The Lions were the No. 1 team I wanted to sign with because it brings me back home, and it gives me a chance to be one of the guys to turn things around."
Jansen is from Michigan, and will be trying to reverse his home team's recent 0-16 season.
Cowboys Sign 3 Players; Roster Stands at 83
The Cowboys have signed three free agents, which pushes their roster total to 83.
Dallas inked tight end Scott Chandler, receiver Mike Jefferson and defensive end Derreck Robinson to deals.
Browns Sign CB Hood To One-Year Deal
The Browns have signed cornerback Roderick Hood to a one-year deal, according to NFL.com.
Hood started 14 games for the Cardinals last season, recording 40 tackles and an interception.
Dolphins Sign Allen To Two-Year Extension
The Dolphins have signed cornerback Will Allen to a two-year contract extension, according to ESPN.com.
Allen's contract now reportedly runs through the 2011 season.
The cornerback recorded 50 tackles, three interceptions, 15 pass defenses and a forced fumble for the Dolphins in 2008.
49ers Sign Dre Bly
The 49ers have reached a one-year deal with cornerback Dre Bly, according to a source.
The 31-year-old Bly was released by the Broncos on Feb. 17.
Bly will replace Walt Harris, who blew out his MCL this week.
Floyd Signs Tender With Chargers
Restricted free agent wide receiver Malcom Floyd signed his one-year contract offer Friday and will be at Chargers Park when the team begins Offseason Coaching Sessions Monday.
Floyd has been absent from the team?s offseason activities to this point, but on Friday, Floyd signed the one-year contract tender the team offered the restricted free agent.
?I just can?t describe how good it feels to be back with the guys,? Floyd said. ?I?ve stressed about the contract stuff for a while, but I?m glad it?s all over. I?m ready to go to work.?
Raiders Sign Former Tight End Foschi
Tight end J.P. Foschi has been signed to a one-year contract by the Oakland Raiders, a source told FOXSports.com.
Foschi played with Oakland from 2004 to 2006 after previously spending time with the New York Jets, Denver and Minnesota as an undrafted free agent.
Lions Sign DE Jason Hunter
The Lions have reportedly signed free-agent defensive end Jason Hunter.
Hunter, a veteran, played his last three seasons in Green Bay.
Scout.com initially reported the signing.
Jets Re-Sign TE Bubba Franks
The Jets re-signed tight end Bubba Franks to a one-year contract on Monday, according to the New York Post.
The team was thin at the position after releasing Chris Baker.
Franks, entering his 10th NFL season, caught six passes for 37 yards in an injury-plagued season for the Jets in 2008.
