NFL Moving Draft To May In 2014

Oct 31, 2014 9:21 PM

The NFL has decided to move its draft to May beginning in 2014. The draft will be sometime between the 8th and 17th of the month.

Radio City Music Hall will not be available during the draft's normal time of the year due to an Easter show in April.

But Roger Goodell expects the draft to remain in May permanently.

Under the current collective bargaining agreement, Goodell can set the date of the draft without the NFLPA's approval.

Rams, 49ers To Have Richest 2014 Draft Assets

Aug 31, 2014 9:28 AM

The St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers are in a position to control the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Rams are the only team in 2014 currently with an extra first round pick, acquired in their trade of Robert Griffin III.

The 49ers could own six picks in the first three rounds in 2014 depending on how the 2013 season plays out with a first rounder, two second rounders and three third rounders.
