Dallas Goedert has a small fracture in his ankle, a league source confirmed.

Goedert is out indefinitely.

Goedert entered Week 3 as the team leader in targets, catches, receiving yards and yards after the catch.

"Losing a guy like Dallas that has a huge role in protections [and the] run game, but he's a playmaker with the ball in his hands and down the field. He's a big part of our game plan every week, and so losing him, we obviously had to make some adjustments on the fly, [which] makes it tough," Doug Pederson said.

Tarik Cohen suffered a torn ACL in Week 3 and will miss the remainder of the season.

Cohen had two carries for 21 yards and three receptions for 20 yards before the injury.

The Bears signed Cohen to a three-year extension earlier this month.

Michael Thomas has been ruled out of Week 3 by the New Orleans Saints with a high ankle sprain.

Thomas has not practiced since he suffered the ankle injury during the final minutes of Week 1.

Thomas wasn't placed on injured reserve with the hopes he would return before Week 5.

Thomas won the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year award last season after setting the NFL record with 149 catches in a season.

The New York Giants have agreed to sign Devonta Freeman.

The Giants lost Saquon Barkley to a torn ACL in Week 2.

Freeman was released by the Atlanta Falcons in March. Freeman rushed 184 times for 656 yards in 2019 to go with 59 catches for 410 yards.

Raheem Mostert left the San Francisco 49ers' Week 2 win at the New York Jets with a knee injury.

The 49ers believe Mostert suffered a sprained MCL.

It was unclear exactly when Mostert suffered the injury.

Mostert had eight carries for 92 yards and a touchdown and two catches for 15 yards before his day came to an end.

Saquon Barkley was carried off the field by trainers after a run early in the first quarter and the New York Giants fear he suffered a torn ACL.

The Giants said Barkley was undergoing X-rays on his knee. He will have more tests Monday, the team said.

One source said a torn ACL was "certainly within the realm."

Barkley was hurt as he ran toward the sideline and was being tackled by Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson. He grabbed at the knee as he was headed to the ground.

George Kittle has been ruled out of the San Francisco 49ers' Week 2 game at the New York Jets with a knee injury.

Kittle won't travel with the 49ers to New Jersey, but instead meet them in West Virginia where they will be staying ahead of their Week 3 game back in New Jersey against the New York Giants.

Kittle had four catches for 44 yards.

Michael Thomas is week-to-week with a high ankle injury and is expected to miss Week 2 when the New Orleans Saints play at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

High ankle sprains typically are a 3-4 week injury. Thomas has resisted going on injured reserve.

Thomas has missed only one game due to injury in his career.

The New York Jets have placed Le'Veon Bell on injured reserve with a pulled hamstring.

Bell will become eligible to return in Week 5.

Bell signed a four-year, $52.5 million contract last year, but hasn't come close to meeting expectations.

Allen Robinson has removed all references to the Chicago Bears as he grows frustrated with the state of contract extension talks.

Robinson has not made a trade request as of now.

"He feels like he's been disrespected," said Tom Pelissero. "And the Bears offers, to this point, have not reflected his fair market value."

The Bears have a history of signing their core players to extensions.
