Julius Thomas underwent an MRI on Monday and it showed that he did not suffer a high ankle sprain.
Thomas has scored eight touchdowns this season as one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets.
"Just left the facility MRI showed it wasn't a high ankle sprain so I won't be down long. Be back soon," wrote Thomas on Twitter
Tom Brady's possibly injured throwing hand was the subject of speculation as he threw for just 116 yards in the New England Patriots' 27-17 win over the Miami Dolphins.
“It’s perfect,” said Brady.
“I didn’t know [how] anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like, but it looks fine to me and it feels good," said Brady. "I’ll be out there next week; you don’t have to worry about that.

Michael Vick felt his hamstring pop in the first quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles' 15-7 loss to the New York Giants.
"I felt the same feeling that I had the first time (he hurt the hamstring on Oct. 6)," Vick said. "I don't think it's as bad, but it did pop again. ... I've never had a hamstring injury this bad."

Mike Williams has a torn hamstring.

Jordan Reed has emerged as one of the NFL's next dominant tight ends.
Reed was a third round pick by the Washington Redskins.
"The guy will be sensational," Jaworski said, per ESPN.com. "He's one of the guys that jumps off the tape at you. I like to use the word 'flash.' We saw a little bit of it earlier this season but clearly against Chicago I saw a lot more of it.
"We were talking here, he reminded us on the field of an Aaron Hernandez," Jaworski said. "He has that kind of wide receiver movement for a big guy. This guy is going to scare the hell out of defenses. They can't load up the box when you have the ability to get him down the field matched against linebackers and safeties. That's a mismatch. He has a chance to be really good. We talk about splash plays; the splash plays against Chicago came from him."
Pro Football Focus reports that Reed has caught 84 percent of his targets, which leads all tight ends.
C.J. Spiller disputes the notion that there is an issue with Doug Marrone about the condition of his injured ankle.
Spiller did not participate in practice again on Thursday.
"I have no problem with Coach Marrone," Spiller said. "I think we have a great relationship. Concerning my injury, I think we're both on the same page. He wants what's best for me, and he also wants what's best for this team. He's going to make the right decision. And I'm going to back him. So there's definitely no feud, no miscommunication."
Spiller was projected as being one of the NFL's most productive backs this season but has struggled to put together the type of numbers he had to end last season.
Adrian Peterson's injured hamstring has impacted him both physically and mentally.
Peterson has only carried the ball 23 times over the past two games.
"They didn’t know anything about it until maybe like last week," said Peterson. "That’s when I really felt, OK, I’m starting to feel something now that could slow me down a little bit. I really didn’t say anything to those guys until like last week. Just told them there’s tightness. It’s more so when I run, I was kind of hesitant to stretch out and really stretch the hamstring, thinking that I was going to pull [it]. So that’s how I kind of had it in my mind. But that had nothing to do with the coaches decisions."
