USC junior defensive end Everson Griffen said Saturday night that he will skip his senior season to enter the 2010 NFL Draft. The Trojans defeated Boston College 24-13 in the Emerald Bowl. "I've known for a while," Griffen said. He is viewed in most draft projections as a late-first or early-second round selection. "I'm ready," Griffen told ESPN.com's Joe Schad. "I know it's the right decision because I've talked it over with my coaches. I will bring speed, a pass rush and the ability to stop the run."

Rutgers Davis Entering NFL Draft
Rutgers offensive tackle Anthony Davis is skipping his senior season to enter the NFL Draft. "It's always been in the back of my head and now that the opportunity is here, I sat down with my coaches and my family and we decided that this my best move," said Davis. Davis is projected as a first-round pick.
2010 NFL Mock Draft, Version 4.0
No commentary with the picks on this one because so many of the underclassmen are still up in the air in terms of draft status. With Jake Locker committing to remaining at Washington (good move, he?ll benefit in the long-term), the top end of the draft gets decidedly defensive. This mock has more of a defensive and quickness feel to it. I can see a lot of the RBs and QBs going higher than slotted here, but from what I?m gathering, teams aren?t especially high on either positional grouping right now. Some of that is smokescreening and needing more evaluation, but I?ll be shocked if any QBs other than Clausen or RBs other than Spiller crack the top 20. Once past the 50th pick, pay more attention to draft/player slot than what the team picking might be, because this is prime trade area and I?m going for players in those spots more than the marriage between teams and players. Some fit, some don?t, and if you send me an email castigating for your team?s picks in that range, I?m going to assume you can?t read well... Round 1 1. St. Louis Rams: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska 2. Florida Gov. Wants Tebow With Jaguars
Florida Gov. Charlie Crist thinks quarterback Tim Tebow could be just what the Jaguars need. Crist said he's spoken with Jacksonville ownership about taking Tebow in next spring's NFL Draft as a means to sell more season tickets and keep the team from moving. Tebow, who grew up in Jacksonville, won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and led the Gators to a national championship last year.
