Jul 16, 2018 5:31 PM

The NFL distributed more than $8 billion in national revenue.

Each team pulled in $255 million, according to financials revealed on Monday by the Green Bay Packers, a team that is a public company because it sells shares from time to time to raise money, even though its shares are technically worthless.

As for the Packers themselves, they say they generated $199 million in local income.

NFLPA Files Grievance Over Anthem Policy

Jul 10, 2018 5:50 PM

The NFL Players Association filed a non-injury grievance Tuesday challenging the legitimacy of the NFL's new national anthem policy on several grounds.

"The union's claim is that this new policy, imposed by the NFL's governing body without consultation with the NFLPA, is inconsistent with the collective bargaining agreement and infringes on player rights," the NFLPA said in a statement.

The NFLPA, which was not consulted about the anthem policy change, argues in its grievance that peaceful demonstration during the anthem does not qualify as "conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in the National Football League."

NFL's PED Policy Encourages Players To Snitch

Jul 5, 2018 12:02 PM

The NFL's policy on performance enhancing drugs rewards players who snitch on their teammates.

“The NFL Management Council may, prior to the conclusion of a Player’s appeal, reduce the length of the suspension and corresponding bonus forfeiture by up to 50% when the Player has provided full and complete assistance (including hearing testimony if required) to the Management Council which results in the finding of an additional violation of the Policy by another Player, coach, trainer or other person subject to this Policy,” the policy states.

A player facing a four-game suspension can potentially cut their suspension in half if they provide information on a teammate, coach or trainer.
