The new stadium for the Cowboys, initially expected to cost around $1 billion, could increase in price, according to the Dallas Business Journal. Expenditures have already cost the city of Arlington an additional $80,000 since February, and the bills are expected to begin piling up. The main culprit for the spike in costs has been increased internet rates, something the team and city are at the mercy of as they work towards completing the new building.
