The flu has torn through the New York Giants, according to the Associated Press. Cornerback Aaron Ross caught something recently and got sick on the team's flight to Arizona. He was so sick that the flight was delayed for nearly an hour. Several other players missed practice on Monday because of both the flu and high body temperatures. Romeo Crennel has agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with the Browns, his agent said Monday night. Crennel, the league's oldest coach, had two years remaining on the five-year deal he signed with the Browns in 2005. His agent, Joe Linta, said the sides have agreed in principle to the extension but that it has not yet been signed, according to an Associated Press report.
