The Cleveland Browns have waived Terrelle Pryor.

Pryor initially made the Browns' roster as a wide receiver.

Pryor is attempting to make the transition from quarterback to wide receiver.

The Philadelphia Eagles have claimed Stephen Morris off waivers one day after waiving Tim Tebow.

Morris was waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars and will be the No. 3 quarterback on the Eagles' roster.

Tebow and Matt Barkley competed for the No. 3 job during training camp.

Morris started 25 games in his junior and senior seasons at Miami, throwing for over 3,000 yards each year.

The Denver Broncos have waived Montee Ball.

Ball was a second round pick at running back by the Broncos in 2013.

Ball spent all of the offseason program and virtually all of the preseason as the team's No. 2 back.

Ronnie Hillman closed out the preseason with a gaudy 7.4 yards per carry and a tight grasp on the No. 2 spot on the depth chart behind C.J. Anderson.

Jonas Gray has been cut by the New England Patriots.

Gray had 199 yards on 38 carries with four touchdowns in Week 11 last season against the Indianapolis Colts.

Gray then overslept and missed practice.

Reggie Wayne has been released by the New England Patriots.

Bill Belichick called it a mutual decision.

The Philadelphia Eagles have released Tim Tebow, ending his pursuit of the No. 3 quarterback job.

The Eagles traded Matt Barkley to the Arizona Cardinals on Friday, indicating he was going to make the final roster.

It is not clear whether Philadelphia plans to acquire another quarterback.

The Oakland Raiders have released Trent Richardson.

Oakland gave Richardson $600,000 in guaranteed money this offseason after the Indianapolis Colts cut him.

Richardson had 19 yards on five carries in Sunday's preseason game.

Richardson, 25, was the No. 3 overall draft pick by Cleveland in 2012. He was traded a year later to the Colts for a first-round pick. In three NFL seasons he has averaged 3.3 yards per carry.
