The Seahawks waived him on Thursday after he failed a physical.

Seahawks Claim Ellison Off Waivers
The Seahawks have claimed safety Kevin Ellison off waivers from the Chargers.
San Diego released him on Monday following his arrest on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
Saints Release DE Bobby McCray
The Saints have released veteran defensive end Bobby McCray.
McCray started all three playoff games last season after a season-ending injury to Charles Grant.
He is a six-year NFL veteran out of Florida who signed with the Saints as an unrestricted free agent in 2008.
Redskins Get Robinson Off Waivers From Browns
The Redskins awarded cornerback Ramzee Robinson off waivers from the Browns on Sunday.
Washington also waived defensive lineman Greg Peterson and cornerback Melvin Stephenson.
Robinson, chosen in the seventh round of the 2007 draft by Detroit, has appeared in 26 career games, with 13 tackles and one fumble recovery.
Texans Waive RB Moats
The Texans placed veteran Ryan Moats on waivers Thursday. Moats, 27, spent the last two seasons with the Texans, starting two games last season and rushing for 390 yards and scoring four touchdowns.
With second-round pick Ben Tate finally healthy, Kubiak wanted to make sure he made up for lost time and cleared space on the practice field by releasing Moats.
Seahawks Claim Stanback Off Waivers
The Seahawks have claimed wide reciever Isaiah Stanback off waivers from the Patriots.
Seattle now has 16 wide receivers under contract heading into mini-camps. Stanback played quarterback in college at Washington.
"It feels great to be coming home, knowing all the people I've got behind me," he said in a telephone interview. "Kind of like a new start."
