Christian McCaffrey Could Break Rookie Reception Record

Christian McCaffrey had 10 catches for the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night, giving him 37 through six games.

McCaffrey is on pace to finish with 99 receptions, near the NFL record for rookies. Anquan Boldin had 101 catches in his first season in 2003.

The rookie mark for a running back was set by Reggie Bush in 2006 (88).

McCaffrey has caught at least four passes in every game this season.

Odell Beckham, Jr. has only played in three games through the first four weeks of the season, but leads the NFL in dropped passes with four.

Beckham has been targeted 33 times. He has 20 receptions for 205 yards and two scores for the New York Giants.

Kareem Hunt On Pace To Break Single-Season Scrimmage-Yards Mark

At the quarter mark of the season, Kareem Hunt is on pace to break the single-season scrimmage-yards mark as a rookie.

Hunt has 659 yards from scrimmage through four games, which puts him on pace for 2,636 yards. Chris Johnson set the NFL record with 2,509 yards in 2009.

Hunt is also on pace for 2,008 rushing yards, which would top Eric Dickerson's rookie record of 1,808 yards.
