The New England Patriots have released Josh Gordon off injured reserve.

Gordon had been playing through a left knee injury.

Gordon will be subject to waivers and other teams can put in a claim for him.

Through six games, Gordon totaled 20 catches for 287 yards and one touchdown.

A.J. Green has interest in signing a long-term contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Green wants to avoid a situation in which he is franchised.

Contract negotations between Green and the Bengals were paused when he got hurt and they've now resumed.

The New England Patriots have released Mike Nugent and agreed to terms with Nick Folk, according to a source.

Folk last kicked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017.

Nugent, 37, was signed on Oct. 3 after the Patriots placed Stephen Gostkowski on season-ending injured reserve with a hip injury. Nugent appeared in four games, and was 5-of-8 on field goals and 15-of-16 on point-after attempts.

Trent Williams has ended his holdout and has reported back to Washington.

Washington began listening to trade offers for Williams as the deadline approached.

The Baltimore Ravens have signed Willie Snead to a one-year, $6 million contract extension.

He would have been an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

Snead ranks third on the team with 15 catches for 223 yards and two scores.

Tom Brady has not been happy with the way the New England Patriots have had turnover at wide receiver this season.

The Patriots signed Antonio Brown and then released him. New England also recently decided to part ways with Josh Gordon.

Brady invested time in incorporating both Brown and Gordon into the Patriots' system.

Tom Brady has all options on the table for 2020, including remaining with the New England Patriots, retiring or moving on to another franchise.

One source said the Patriots have two advantages to Brady that no other situation can offer in Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick.

"Never underestimate Robert Kraft," one source familiar with the situation that awaits the Patriots and Brady told ESPN.

While Brady's relationship with Belichick and Kraft has been questioned at times, it reportedly is great currently.

"I can tell you this: The working relationship with Tom and Bill (Belichick) right now is terrific," the source said.

The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to sign Alfred Morris.

David Johnson is currently battling an ankle injury, leaving the Cardinals thin at running back.
