Eric DeCosta told reporters on Friday night that Hollywood Brown asked the Baltimore Ravens to trade him following the 2021 season.

The Ravens sent Brown to the Arizona Cardinals in draft night deal.

DeCosta described it as a "complicated topic."

"It's something I anguished over for a long time," the general manager added.

Aaron Rodgers said he was "surprised" by the Green Bay Packers trading Davante Adams this offseason in his first public comments since the move.

Speaking during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers said he believed his return to the Packers would help the team ultimately reach a long-term deal with Adams.

"It was a little surprising with Davante -- obviously when I made my decision, I was still thinking he was going to come back," Rodgers said. "I was very honest with him about my plans and my future and where I saw my career going, as far as how many years I want to play. But I felt like he was going to be back, didn't obviously turn out that way but I have so much love for 'Tae and appreciate the time we spent together and definitely wish him the best in Derek [Carr] in Vegas. But that's a big hole to fill."

Buffalo acquired the 23rd pick from the Baltimore Ravens for the 25th and 130th selections.

The Ravens had acquired the 23rd pick from the Arizona Cardinals for Marquise Brown and a third-round pick.

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing A.J. Brown to an extension after acquiring him in a trade with the Tennessee Titans.

Brown receives a four-year, $100 million deal from the Eagles, with $57 million of that guaranteed, according to a source.
