The Tennessee Titans pulled Marcus Mariota in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.

He was replaced by Ryan Tannehill in the team's 16-0 loss.

Mike Vrabel said afterward that he'll evaluate the quarterback position this week.

"Things happen for a reason, and I truly believe that. I can learn from this and grow from this, and I'll become a better player from it," Mariota said. "For me as a competitor, I would love to be out there with my guys. But again, it's going to be completely up to the coaches and what they decide."

While the Titans didn't put up any points with Tannehill, he did lead them to their only two trips to the red zone.
