Andrew Luck has informed the Indianapolis Colts he will retire from the NFL.

Luck will have a press conference on Sunday to make it official.

Luck is reportedly mentally worn down after a number of injury issues in recent years.

Luck turns 30 years old on September 12th and was the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Stanford.

After sitting out the 2017 season, Luck was the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2018.

Jacoby Brissett will become the Colts' starting quarterback this season.
