The Jacksonville Jaguars will stick with Blake Bortles as their starting quarterback.

But Cody Kessler will see some first-team reps in practice and Bortles will be on "a short leash."

"I spoke to both quarterbacks this afternoon and told them that Blake will be our team's starting quarterback," Doug Marrone said in a statement. "I believe this gives us the best opportunity to win."

Bortles had completed 6 of 12 passes for 61 yards against the Texans at the time he was benched.
