The New York Jets have traded Christian Hackenberg to the Oakland Raiders for a conditional draft pick.

The move came hours after Hackenberg made critical comments about the coaching staff to reporters. He said the past two seasons were "frustrating" because he didn't "get any information from anybody on how to fix that and how to address" mechanical flaws.

Hackeberg was a second round pick in 2016 out of Penn State. The Jets have since traded up to select Sam Darnold with the third overall pick.

Hackenberg served as the fourth-string quarterback in 2016 and the third-stringer last season.
