The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to acquire Marcus Peters from the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs are expected to receive draft pick compensation back from the Rams.

The Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers were also interested in Peters.

Kansas City has also traded Alex Smith this offseason.

Peters was originally the 18th overall pick out of Washington in 2015 and will cost $3.05 million toward the salary cap this season. The Rams have until May 3rd to pick up Peters' fifth-year option for 2019 projected at $9 million.
