The Dallas Cowboys are now unlikely to find a trade involving Tony Romo.

The Cowboys will definitely part ways with Romo this offseason but had hoped to find a trade for him.

Teams appear unwilling to take on Romo's contract or overpay for him.

For their part, the Cowboys are unwilling to trade Romo to a city in which he does not want to play.

Romo has met twice with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones this offseason, including earlier this week when the quarterback's release looked imminent.

The Houston Texans and Denver Broncos are interested in Romo.
