The Arizona Cardinals have released Michael Floyd two days after he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to obey a police officer.
Floyd was found unconscious behind the wheel of his running vehicle at a Scottsdale intersection early Monday morning, according to police.
The wide receiver had three alcohol-related brushes with the law at Notre Dame, including a DUI.
Floyd was a first-round pick of the Cardinals in 2012.
