Ben McAdoo is requesting Odell Beckham Jr. become less of a distraction to the New York Giants.

In Week 3, Beckham slammed his helmet against the kicking net and also yelled at nobody in particular on the sideline.

McAdoo twice had conversations on the sideline with Beckham during Sunday's 29-27 loss to Washington.

"[Beckham] needs to control his emotions better and become less of a distraction to himself and to his teammates," McAdoo said Monday on a conference call with reporters. "It's our job to help him with that process and maturing."

Beckham almost appeared to be in tears after the game.
