The New England Patriots plan to sit Tom Brady in Thursday's preseason opener against the New Orleans Saints, according to a source.

Jimmy Garoppolo will get the start.

Brady is suspended for the first four games of the regular season.

New England is also expected to sit Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan.
