Doug Pederson is considered the favorite to become the next head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tom Coughlin took his name out of consideration for the job.

Pederson is currently the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator.

The Eagles also were strongly interested in Ben McAdoo.
