The New York Giants and Ben McAdoo have reached agreement for him to remain with the team as head coach.

McAdoo has been offensive coordinator of the Giants over the past two years after serving as quarterbacks coach of the Green Bay Packers in the 2012 and 2013 season. McAdoo had been tight ends coach of the Packers in 2006.

The Giants fired Tom Coughlin this offseason.

Jeff McLane reports the Philadelphia Eagles were prepared to offer their job to McAdoo.
