Arian Foster is confident he will be able to play in the NFL again.

Foster tore the Achilles tendon in his right leg this season and is recovering from surgery.

At 29, the injury could be career-ending for some running backs.

"Yeah I'll play again," he told The Associated Press. "I'm not the first one to come back from an Achilles tendon (injury)."

Foster is a four-time Pro Bowler after going undrafted.

"You have to wait for it to heal and then you start the recovery process," he said. "But yeah as soon as that happens we're going to hit the ground running."
