Torrey Smith revealed he will not re-sign with the Baltimore Ravens and he is expected to sign with the San Francisco 49ers.

“I will be playing for a different organization, but I will remain committed to the City of Baltimore,” Smith wrote Sunday on his blog. “. . . I’m on to the next chapter of my life and football career, but I will see you guys later.”

The 49ers are considered the front-runner to sign Smith to a multi-year contract, according to multiple reports. One source told the Baltimore Sun that it’s a "done deal with the 49ers," barring any unforeseen snags.

Colin Kaepernick has not had a viable deep threat since becoming quarterback of the 49ers.
