The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released Josh McCown after one season.

McCown started 11 games in 2014, throwing 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions after signing a two-year, $10 million contract with the Bucs in March.

The deal didn't have a signing bonus meaning the Buccaneers won't suffer a cap hit.

The Buccaneers will presumably take a quarterback with the first overall pick.
