Former Miami Dolphins' wide receiver David Boston, released with an injury settlement by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in September, was arrested Saturday evening in Cooper City on a felony charge of false imprisonment and a misdemeanor charges of battery and resisting an officer without violence. According to the Broward Sheriff's Office incident report, Boston's wife Renee said she began arguing with him after she returned from a walk with their 2-year-old daughter to find her husband had left their house in the 5500 block of Southwest 104th Terrace, locked it and left their month-old daughter inside. Renee Boston told deputies that her husband threw a large leather cushion at her while she held the newborn, then pulled the phone cord out of the wall to prevent her from calling 911.
