Sammy Watkins Could Miss Several Weeks With Pain In Foot

Sammy Watkins could miss a few weeks of game action after experiencing discomfort in his surgically repaired left foot.

Doctors have advised Watkins against having a second surgery on his foot. 

Watkins missed all of organized team activities, June minicamp and the first week of training camp after undergoing a procedure in the spring to repair a fracture.

X-rays following the game did not show any broken bones in Watkins' foot, and that doctors consider his availability in upcoming games to be a pain management issue. The newspaper said that Watkins "could be shut down for several weeks."
