Jets Trade Stanton To Colts
Nov 19, 2014 7:50 AM
The Jets have granted Drew Stanton's wish by agreeing to a trade with the Colts.
New York signed Stanton last Friday to be their No. 2 quarterback, but their plans changed when they completed the trade for Tim Tebow.
He signed a one-year contract for $1.25 million, including a $500,000 signing bonus the Jets have paid, according to a source.
Stanton will presumably backup either Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III depending on who the Colts select with the first overall pick.
