Philadelphia Eagles Wiretap

Sources: Jaguars Interested In Deal For Sheppard

The Jaguars are reportedly interested in making a deal for Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.

The Eagles will hold their first postdraft minicamp this weekend, and Philadelphia could look to make a deal involving Sheppard before the workouts take place.

Asked whether he expects Sheppard to play for the Eagles in '08, coach Andy Reid said: "As I sit here right now, Lito is an Eagle. That's how it is, just like every other guy on this football team."

"It gives us one great opportunity for a nice secondary. The way to use him is just like we used [former Eagles cornerbacks] Bobby Taylor, Al Harris and Troy Vincent. We just rotated all of them and they were all starters in our eyes," Reid added.

Eagles Trade With Dolphins For RB Booker

The Eagles traded with the Dolphins on Saturday to land a running back that they wanted in last year's draft, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

They landed Lorenzo Booker in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the draft, a selection that Miami will make on Sunday.

"I was definitely shocked," Booker said. "I was just laughing about that. This is not even my draft, and here I am, on the phone again. It's just kind of funny when you think about it."

"He's somebody we really liked in the draft last year, and we couldn't pull it off where we were able to get him last year, but he's somebody we've had our eyes on," Eagles' Coach Andy Reid said.
