Madieu Williams has agreed to a six-year, $33 million with the Minnesota Vikings, making him one of the highest paid safeties in the NFL, according to ESPN.

The Cincinnati Bengals placed the franchise tag on guard Stacy Andrews on Monday, making him the third player to receive the tag this offseason, according to ESPN.com.
The Bengals gave Andrews a one-year $7.5 million deal to play in Cincinnati this season.
Last week, the Eagles franchised L.J. Smith, and the Cardinals did the same with Karlos Dansby.

Bengals' head coach Marvin Lewis said Wednesday that the team will not trade Chad Johnson and has never discussed it.
"They can stop the presses, quit killing trees and move on to other things," Lewis said, defending Johnson despite the wide receiver's critical comments about the team. "There is, at no point, anyone in the Bengals organization who has ever uttered anything about trading Chad Johnson. Nor will he be traded."
