Has Burress Played His Final Game With Giants?

Courier Post - Plaxico Burress may have ended his tenure with the New York Giants on Friday night when he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a club in New York.

Already out for New York's game Sunday at Washington with a hamstring injury, Burress was released from the hospital after treatment for the gunshot on Saturday.

It is not yet known whether the receiver was licensed to carry a concealed weapon in the New York City, which has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation and the most stringent penalties.

A conviction on a concealed-weapon charge could result in a mandatory prison sentence of 3.5 years. [READ]
