Report: Giants' Tynes Pursues Pardon For Brother

ESPN - Giants' kicker Lawrence Tynes is reportedly seeking a pardon from the Bush administration for his brother, who is serving a 27-year sentence for dealing drugs.

Tynes recently hired a lawyer to handle the effort to have his brother freed, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

"The situation that Mark found himself in was partly due to his own mistakes," the lawyer said. "We have to make sure that what we submit is accurate and explains Mark's position and why we believe the sentence is excessive." [READ]
