"Always," Manning said of Burress dealing with more than one defender, "just because people are scared of him."
Burress hasn't had an above-average game since he opened the season with a 10-catch, 133-yard performance on Opening Night.
"I know you guys don't remember back, but right in the beginning of the year I had said him being better or more effective may not necessarily always translate into more catches," said offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride.
