Steelers' Parker Insists He's Ready To Return

Post-Gazette - Pittsburgh running back Willie Parker insists that he is ready to return to the field after missing four games with a badly sprained left knee.

"I'm smiling, but I'm a little frustrated," Parker said. "I like where we're going right now, but I'll still assess each day and take it day by day and know where we are."

Mewelde Moore has filled in nicely for Parker.

"I didn't think I would be out this long when it first happened," Parker said. "I didn't think so, but that's just me. I never have negative thoughts. If I thought I'd be out five to six weeks, I would have considered that being negative." [READ]
