Winslow's Suspension Gets Lifted

Cleveland Plain Dealer - Kellen Winslow's suspension has been rescinded by the Browns after club officials received copies of text messages from a Browns PR rep telling Winslow not to reveal that he had a staph infection, a source close to the situation told The Plain Dealer.

The tight end will still be fined $25,000 for comments about the Browns not protecting its players enough from staph, but he will not forfeit the $235,294 game check for sitting out today's game in Jacksonville.
