Boston Herald - Matt Cassel opened up considerably on Thursday and defended his play.

?I think I?ve had the vote of confidence from the coaching staff all along, otherwise, I wouldn?t be in the position I?m in,? Cassel said. ?Because we lose one game, I don?t feel I should be worried about my job, to be completely honest. I mean, we?re 3-2 right now. We?re one game back from Buffalo. I?m sure there?s a lot of teams wishing they were 3-2.
