Source: Kiffin Close To Filing Grievance

ESPN - Lane Kiffin, the former head coach of the Oakland Raiders, is in the process of putting together his grievance against the Raiders for the remaining money on his contract, a source close to the situation said Thursday. The source said the grievance is expected to be filed with the league within the next 7-10 days.

Kiffin is expected to file the grievance because Raiders owner Al Davis said he would not pay Kiffin the remaining money on his deal. Davis said he fired Kiffin for cause and detailed reasons why he fired Kiffin in a press conference. [READ]
