Reid: Eagles Are 'Embarrassed'

Courier Post - Eagles' Coach Andy Reid says that his team is 'embarrassed' following their collapse against the Redskins on Sunday.

Philadelphia's defense coughed up 204 rushing yards and a two-touchdown lead while the offense stalled in the second half.

"The guys care. These players care. They're a proud bunch, and they want to do well," Reid said Monday. "When you're up by 14 points, you expect to finish the thing off right, do the right things and win the game."

"I think we're all embarrassed by it," Reid added. "We put a lot of time into it, time and effort, and you don't want to go out and have a game like that." [READ]
