Phillips Says Cowboys Need To Run More

Star-Telegram - Cowboys' Coach Wade Phillips says that they need to start running the ball more after they attempted just eleven runs in their loss to the Redskins on Sunday.

"We didn’t run the ball enough in the ballgame," Phillips said. "That’s my fault. We do have audibles at the line of scrimmage; in some games we audible out of running plays. In this game, we probably audibled out of too many."

In Week Three, Dallas ran for 217 yards against Green Bay.

"We need to run Marion Barber up in there, and we can still run against an eight-man front, and if he breaks through there, he’ll make a big play for us," Phillips said.

The Cowboys will face the Bengals this Sunday. [READ]
